Opening

Is SupaKera open yet?

Not yet. We open first in Accra and Tema, area by area, then Kumasi, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Ho and Tamale.

Join the waitlist and we'll message you the day we open in your area.

Why area by area?

We open an area when there are enough stores, Kera partners and support there to do it properly. A promise we can keep is better than a big launch that lets people down.

Will there be an app?

Yes: SupaKera for iPhone and Android, plus SupaKera Kera for riders and drivers and SupaKera Merchant for stores. Everything also works on supakera.com.

Prices and paying

How are prices set?

SupaKera sets the price and shows all of it before you book: the fare or delivery, any fee, and any busy-time extra, each on its own line. There's no haggling and no bidding.

What's the busy-time extra?

When there aren't enough riders or drivers for everyone, a small extra may apply to the trip or delivery part of the price. It has a firm limit, it's shown before you book, and all of it goes to your rider or driver. SupaKera takes no cut of it.

Prefer to wait? We'll show you when it eases.

Can the price change after I book?

No, not because of traffic or a change of driver. Only a change you ask for, like a new stop or a heavier load, changes it, and you'll see the new price before you agree.

How can I pay?

Mobile Money and cards, a SupaKera balance and gift cards. No one from SupaKera will ever ask for your PIN or a code from your bank.

What if a payment is stuck?

Mobile Money can take a moment. The app shows 'Payment pending' until it's confirmed, and we never charge you twice. If money leaves your account for an order that doesn't go ahead, it comes back to you.

Safety and trust

How do I know it's the right rider or car?

You see their face, name, vehicle and plate before they arrive. For rides, a trip PIN that only you hold must be entered before the trip starts. If anything doesn't match, don't get in, and tell us.

How do parcels get handed over?

The recipient gives the rider a handover code. No code, no handover, unless you've named someone else to receive it. If no one's there, we follow what you chose: wait, try later or bring it back.

Do riders wear helmets?

Always, and passengers on motorbikes and tricycles get one too.

What about medicines?

Only licensed pharmacies sell medicines on SupaKera. A pharmacist checks prescriptions and can counsel you, and packaging and notifications stay discreet.

Gifts

How do gift cards work?

Choose an amount and write a message. We send it by WhatsApp, SMS or email, now or on the day. It can be spent on Shop, Send or Ride, or at one store if you chose a store card.

How do registries work?

Make a list from stores on SupaKera for a wedding, outdooring, birthday, graduation or new home. Friends buy from it or chip in together, and everything arrives on the day.

Selling, riding and driving

How do I sell on SupaKera?

Apply on the Merchants page. We'll call you, check your business and any licences your category needs, and help you set up your menu or catalogue.

Can I deliver on a bicycle?

Yes. Kera Riders deliver by bicycle, e-bike, motorbike or tricycle; Kera Drivers by car or van. We match each job to the vehicles that suit it.

What does it cost a Kera partner?

You see what every job pays before you accept it, along with any busy-time extra (all yours) and paid waiting time. SupaKera's fee is set out in your agreement and on every statement.
